Short report of Lotus
Academic
College
of the first one hundred days
Lotus Academy College is now hundred days old. It has been running
the classes of post-Graduate Diploma successfully. Fifty to
fifty-five classes were run in each subject. Twenty-seven
students got admitted in the college. During the period

The academy
invited experts i.e. Prof. And Dr. T.R. Manandhar, Rev.
Kaudinaya, Rev. Nowang Hosher, Rev. Shucho Takaoka,
Chancellor Nepalbhasa Academy Satya Mohan Joshi, Buddha
Luxmi, ManikBajracharya and Dr. Deena Wangdel to speak on
different themes related to Buddhist Studies. The students
appreciated the programs. Students from T.U. were also
permitted to participate in the talk program.

Last Friday the students paid visits of National
archives and Asa Saphu Kuthi led by myself, Manish and
Mahendra.

Manik and
Manish conducted computer guide classes to the teachers.
Manik took special classes on unicode to the students.

Students
are communicated with additional knowledge on different
themes through visual programs at intervals.

Meetings
were held five times to discuss on various topics concerning
the Academy. Programs were proposed for the coming fiscal
year in the last meeting.
7.
Academy
teachers participated in two day closed sessions meeting
held at Nagarkot organized by Lotus at the sponsor of Rev.
Shucho takaoka.
8.
Most of the
classes were run with help of digital and overhead
projectors.
